English as a Second Language

This is a non-certified program intended for adults whose native language is not English. It concentrates on teaching the student conversational English and the skills needed to function in day-to-day life. This class will assist the learner in English speaking, listening, reading and writing. An assessment is required upon enrollment to determine the level of English spoken. 

 

Students from all nations are welcome and attend the same class meetings. It is not uncommon to have speakers of several languages in the class at the same time.

 

As with all of our programs, students must be at least 17 years of age and cannot currently be enrolled in high school.

 

ESL AM class fees are $40.00

PM class fees are $20.00
